I've never plucked my eyebrows before, but I want to start. the problem is, I don't know where to start. I'm scared I'll pluck to many hairs and regret it later. How do I know which hairs to pluck? Help!

Take a long comb and hold one end by the end of your nose. The other end straight up. That's where the brow should begin. Now hold the comb by the end of your nose and slant it toward the outer corner of your eye. That's where your brow should end. Looking straight ahead, hold the comb straight up and down at the outside of the colored part of your eye. That's where the arch should be. Always pluck from below the brow - never above. You may want to ice the area to be plucked to lessen any pain.

Go slow, and only pluck from underneath the eyebrow. Pluck out just one row from the bottom and see how it looks to start, don't try to get to your final eyebrow shape all at once or you might pluck too thin and regret it... Also, for what shape the eyebrows should be, look at lots of pictures of celebrities and such online to get an idea what professional eyebrows look like. You probably won't find what looks best on you right away, but it helps if you have an idea what looks good on most people! Some people look better in very unusual eyebrows, like very thin, no shape, with more space in between them, etc, but start with something generic at first!

Any far out hairs that dont follow your eybrow line such as one at the side of your eybrows that branch out.
NEVER pluck from the top of the line!
Eyebrow hairs that are in the middle of each eyebrow are undesirable feel free to pluck those and finally the hairs that have gone astray at the bottom side of your eybrows (the side where your eylid is at) but be careful it is quite tender there! :) (U shud get them waxed for better results its fairly cheap.)

You may want to get them waxed at a salon the first time so you get a good shape, and do ont pluck too many.

I find it less painful than plucking.

if its your first time, I'd advise going to a professional salon. it won't cost anymore than $10 to get them waxed and the beautician will give you a shape that suits your face. after that you can easily pluck stray hairs to maintain the shape

well it sord of depends on where you want your shape to be like if you don't want them skinny and you don't want them thick then you should totally pluck like right around the bushy areas where the eyebrow is getting on your eyelid!!!

You follow the natural arch of you brow. Use a pencil to draw in what you like then tweeze around.
They also have templates at the drug store. Again you hold it on, color in with brow pencil, remove and tweeze around.
If you have never had them shaped at all please go have them waxed at a salon!!!. Its well worth the money (average cost. $10). Then once they start to grow back, clean up tweeze as needed.
