Well seen as how Brazil, and Canada aren't a country of America, I would have to say America is the richest. But if you mean the Continent of North America, you can only ask about The U.S. and Canada, and I would think that would be the U.S. But Brazil is in South America(totally different continent), and I don't think they have much money.

Our language challenged friend is asking which is the richer country in the Americas of these two: Canada or Brazil.
The answer is Canada by any measure. On the other hand Brazil has some flavor and character whereas Canada is the most utterly forgettable nonentity in the world that for some reason has a seat in the U.N.

If you compare by economy size, Brazil is world 9th largest with GDP of 1.5 trillion dollars. Canada is 11th with GDP of 1.165 trillion dollars.
GDP(PPP) by capita which is all the GDP divide by number of population .
Canada is world 7th at $ 34,273 and Brazil is 68th with $ 8,561.
Therefore Brazil is larger by size and number, but average Canadian is richer than average Brazilian by large margin.
If you are interested at USA , GDP by capita is 3rd at $43,555
with GDP of 13.049 trillion dollars;which is first in the world.
