Nobody new I worked there because the hours I was given were random so I wasn't on the schedule. I went in later that day and my boss was standing near the "clock in machine"! I acted like I was going to my locker and she asked me if I was working today. I said no that I was off. I then just went home. WHAT DO I DO!?!

When they ask you about that day tell them you weren't there, it must be a glitch with the clock. Now that you were seen there, if you try to get paid for the day not only will you get fired but they technically can have you arrested.

Line out the clock in entry & initial it, tell the time clerk to avoid confusion. If you clocked out, then you have hard explaining to do...if you are excellent worker, perhaps you have nothing to fear, if you are not, and I am your boss...you are fired.

In other words, don't just waste your time on the computer, go back do some damage control, your job is on the line.

Don't worry. When you go in Monday pull your boss aside and tell her that exactly what happened. Make sure you mention that you were sorry, but you forgot to clock out. She's going to know that you worked, because you clocked in. Be honest about what time you left.

You aren't the first and you surely won't be the last to forget to clock out at work. She'll understand. ;)

You sound like your pretty young and dont care about keeping the job. cool! The boss is probably suspicious now so the only thing can do is contenue this behaviour and f*ck off as much as possible so you can get a couple of free paychecks before you get fired.

AND NEVER underestimate the power of denial.

Start looking for a new job. You have been caught in a lie, and she will fire you. I can't imagine the work ethic of doing this, so you need to examine your own moral fibre, unless you want to have a series of low paying short lived jobs.
