Who's good who's not and who should we expect to see next season!

AH finally another Sabres fan!
I am a big fan of Novotny.. so far he's one of those unsung, quiet tough competitors.. I would definitely keep him around.. Jochen Hecht is another favorite of mine. Vanek is another one of those up and coming stars.. They need to season him a little, but he is turning into an awesome player.
To be honest I can't find one true weak spot.. except one and Sabres fans will argue with me.. BUT my major concern is goaltending. I know I know.. everyone praises Miller.. but Miller is so inconsistent. IF you notice the goals he gives up are soft...
I was always a fan of Biron.. I think Buffalo gave up on Biron too soon. Miller is being played way too much and is very inconsistent.
Other than that I don't see any need for real changes. they have a core of great talent.. starting with Briere. He's one of the most underrated stars in this league.

Peters is kinda useless unless Lindy needs him to go in and drop a guy who's going after Afinogenov, Drury or Briere. I really like Kalinin and always have; he isn't flashy but he goes in and does his job and is always a solid defenseman. Novotny for some reason evoks no opinion from me. He's ok, I guess, but I won't be heartbroken if he ends up gone.
To the other Sabers fan who's not in love with Ryan Miller-THANK YOU! I have been saying for months that he isn't all that he's cracked up to be! I like him and think he is an above average goaltender, but I like Biron better because I think, given the chance, he could be a site more sharp in net than Miller is. Marty has more experience, plus he had Hasek to help him improve his skills his first season or two playing in the NHL, and it shows.

i agree with the 1st answer by keith. miller is not as good as everyone says he is. if i could id trade him for miikka kiprusoff or even kari lehtenon or hw u spell his last name. id also trade the goose for mikko koivu but that isnt going to happen. As long as hank stays healthy lyd plays good so thats a good line to keep. I think Kalinin is having a slump and until he gets out of it everyone is going to complain about him playing bad. Teppo will probably retire which will hurt our defense considering hes probably our 3rd best defenseman. It would help to get another solid defenseman because i think our fowards have great chemistry with each other. We dont have to count on 1 forward to score because they all can.

Ok Well I dont like peters he is kinda a Wimpy fighter!! and he like NEVER scored!! Well i think Numinen (sp?) is getting kinda Old for hockey!! and i think Afinogenov is GREAT!! Email me back on what you think!
