The first trade I feel that you would be better off keeping Shanahan and Kaberle. Point wise I feel that those 2 will be better and you won't be overloaded at LW.

The second trade I also think you should keep Datsyuk and Budaj. Stats wise the is not much of a difference between the C. Sakic has a few more G but They both play for a good team and I think they will end the season with simular stats. Budaj right now is the better G in my opinion. Khabi is not doing well right now so that is the main reason I would keep Datsyuk and Budaj.

I wouldn't do the first trade. Shanahan and Blake are about even, but Kaberle is worth much more than Erat. Good offensive defenseman aren't that common, so don't trade one unless it significantly improves your team. That trade doesn't.

Second trade, depends on whether you think Budaj has the job rest of the way. You're weak in goal. Khabibulin is slumping now but has more upside if he gets it together. I prefer Datsyuk over Sakic, but the difference is small. In a keeper league you'd probably want to pass on it. In a non keeper league I think I'd do the trade and gamble that the Bulin Wall gets it together.

I don't think you should do either trade. Kaberle is about a B- defensemen which isnt bad, and Shanahan plays on a great Powerplay unit. Blake and Erat are extremely inconsistent.

2nd trade I also think you shuold not do. Khabibulin is one of the most inconsistent goalies b/c of his injury. Aside from whatever you think about Budaj, Datsyuk is finally coming alive and that line of Zetterberg, Datsyuk, Holmstrom is finally playing like they're capable of. Look for Datsyuk to finish in the top 15 in rank. You could probably replace Budaj with Holmqvist on tampa, Dipietro in NYI, Raycroft on TOR, or Fleury on Pitt, depending on whats available in your league.

the first trade hurts you because brendan shanahan is playing at his full potential. The second trade helps you a lot because Joe Sakic is playing like an all-star

Ladd isn't surprisingly much as good as Cammaleri, so which you will lose scoring and in accordance with in case you have a good goalie you do not choose for Khabibulan, in case you have a susceptible goalie then khabby could be good.
