Gary Sinise is the best actor of all time! And was not in King Kong. I think you're confusing him with Andy Serkis who was the guy who did the Smeagol/Gollum thing in Lord of the Rings.

Don't know about King Kong, but Captain Dan was played by actor Gary Sinise.

Gary Sinese was in Forrest Gump. He played Stu Redman in The Stand by Stephen King and he played the bad guy in Ransom along side Mel Gibson (yummy). He's a great actor.

He is the great actor Gary Sinise and you can see him every Wednesday on CSI: NY.
