Would rubber stamps work on felt? I want to apply fabric paint to the stamp and then stamp felt with my friend's initials. Think it would work?

i think you should try to stamp with black directly onto the felt and then use your fabric pens to trace, outline, or fill in the letters. make it like a coloring book page is what I am trying to get at here. hope I explained well enough, good luck

Try it out on a scrap piece of felt first. You probably won't get a solid image. It will also depend on the quality of felt. A good wool felt will accept it better than a 20 cent square from walmart. If it doesn't work with the stamp, you could always try your hand at embroidery.
