My son has tried uninstalling Yahoo messenger and putting it back in and that didn't work. I can't find a list of denied sites anywhere in Mozilla Fire Fox. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is how I view my grand daughter!

yahoo messenger or any other messenger, is not being blocked by your browser, it could be getting blocked by either the built in firewall, or a thrid party firewall, or some other security suite....if using windows firewal, go to the settings for it and add the messenger to the allowed list, or add an exception to it, if using some other program, check the settings within that to see if it is blocking the program, or if its set to not ask if its okay to go online.
