I think we all have a few things that we use to define who we are. As we age, those parts of us change, sometimes for good or bad. Someone may have always been the smartest kid, until they went to a big university, and now they are one of the kinda smart young men or women, but no longer the smartest. As you give up some of the parts that define yourself and find other things to redefine yourself, it can be a very painful and lost feeling, but it is one of the most important things for you to learn how to do as you mature into adulthood.

You know how sad it is to run across someone who should have "let it go" a long time ago. Too old to skateboard, too old to hang out, too old to wear those clothes, too old to work that job, too old to be cute, and of course, too old not to have a social life.

Maybe you have gotten too old to be cute and are not quite old enough to have grown into your adult bones. The guy from the Titanic movie and Brad Pitt have finally gotten that solid man look instead of cute. It is an improvement, from a woman's point of view.

If you are not as handsome as a man as you were as a child, you will have some adjusting to do. But some of the most handsome things I know of a man is not how he looks in photo and I would suggest you might look at what else you find when you look inside that is also quite handsome and needs a chance to shine.

It's just all in your head. I am pretty sure you're still good looking. Anyone can be. But if you feel that you're not goodlooking anymore, let it be. Start thinking you have a beautiful personality and consistent self-confidence.
Pfysical beauty wears out in a matter of time. You're lucky if you still feel handsome at the age of 38. I do lol. It is all dependent on your attitude. Don't let it get in to you or your face is going to wear out at the age of 17 due to stress.

Everybody looks crap when they are in their teens.

A mate and I were looking at some old photos of when we were your age a couple of weeks back. I looked something the cat had puked up and he looked like Beaker out of the Muppets.

We both pulled through this dodgy phase and got married to a pair of rather good-looking women and now we are both stud-muffins.

Don't worry mate.....you'll grow into your skin - if you were a looker when you were younger, you will be again - its only a phase !

Please,
get off your physical looks and work on your character.
Puberty is what's happening.
It happens to every one...that's why it's called "the awkward stage".
Take the mirrors down and read more and interact more with the focus on others and by the time you are out of college your looks will settle down and you'll be 'normal' again.

Just feel good about yourself and quit looking in the mirror.

Nothing's wrong. It's all part of getting bigger. You'll look good when you're 21, I'm sure!
