is there a website that promotes athletes?

If there was do you think It could do well. If it was something like a myspace? Could it help individual athletes get seen for colleges? Would colleges or scouts look at a site like this?

It might help for some sports , but most of the major sports, baseball,football,basketball, utilize existing sites for different leagues, ncaa divisions or the like.

It might be something that could grow quite successful w adequate enough athletes using it & the proper promotion among scouts. Sounds promising!!
