indians are one billion strong population but they are sadly poor in sports .Is there any corelation between their health condion and their preformance in sports? If yes, we must ponder over this qwestion and try to find an answer.

Malnutrition, unhygienic living conditions, poverty and lack of awareness about health are the main reasons for poor health of our countrymen.
In spite of above, if adequate affordable/free sports infrastructure/facilities are available in cities and villages, our country shall produce many sports men of international calibre.

There is a co-relation between the economic development and the achievement in such sports activities. That is how China, Japan, South Korea are able to put up an impressive show in the sports events. We need to improve the economic well being of the people, equitable distribution of the wealth, nutrition among the people, as well as a sport culture.
