Also, 1 inch of snow is expected and winds up to 20mph. I live in a small rural place in northeast Ohio.

Plan on going to school. Here in SE Wisc they won't consider closing the schools until the temp reaches -10 (suppose to get to -11 tonight) and than they'll see how the buses are (if can get started) running.

I know a few Ohioans and they really hate snow. I would say you stand a chance but those conditions are truly not bad. Try -22 with a wind chill of -36 and 30 inches of snow. Winter 06 - 07 Denver CO.

I would be a bit surprised if the school directors decided to keep school open in weather like that. But only a little bit surprised. If the snow stops 2 or 3 hours before the school buses start, then there will be time to plow the roads, and they might have school.

It depends on your school. I live in Texas and we don't get snow days here.

But we have gotten heat days. Usually when its 90+ out and the A/C breaks

NE Ohio... I doubt it, but there is a chance, especially if like one of the others said "if the buses start".

Perhaps if you live in Hawaii. I grew up in Buffalo and that sounds like a school day to me.
