you should check out the Seney Country Inn in Seney Michigan. It is in the beautiful Upper Peninsula sandwiched between Lakes Michigan and Superior. There is nothing as pretty as Grand Marais 25 miles to the north on the lake. It is truly a 4 season experience there with plenty of snowfall......In addition to a full sit down tourist restaurant, there is a motel with 11 rooms. And a residence that nice, a ranch style house no basement. This is my parents business and they would really like to retire. If I had the money, I would buy and move there myself. Seney is half way between Marquette and Sault Ste Marie on Hwy M-28.
