You could crochet a flap to flip over the front and use a snap to secure it. There's a picture of what I mean on the link below.

I JUST finished crocheting an iPod nano cozy! What I did was I crocheted a rectangle that was about 7" x 2", and then sewed it up on the sides. To keep the nano from falling out of the cozy, just create a "strap" thing at the top by chaining on about 5 stitches and crochet them for about two rows. crochet in a button hole, and sew a button to the cozy! that way your iPod won't fall out.

i hope your cozy turns out well! : D i'm just guessing on the sizes that i used, though; u can look up the iPod's dimensions on apple's website, and just double the height to get how big you should make the rectangle.

The best way is to turn the cozy inside out and then do a single crochet stciht along the edges. Then when you turn back outside in, you will not be able to see that stitch.

To be different you can also single crochet the ends together on the outside of teh seam so that you can see it. It will look better if you usea different colored yarn so that you can see the color contrast.

after you have crocheted the rectangle fold it in half and single crochet the the edges together. Find a loop on one side and put your hook through it and the corresponding loop on the other side then loop your yarn around the hook and pull it through. Repeat until you have closed the sides that you want closed.

I have done this around all sides of a gift to wrap it before.
