In brief I would like to say like Treking,spending holidays u would prefer to have a partner/companion if you are alone.I have found some sites but not of india.Is there any site like that?

a good bet will be to start an egroup in orkut or yahoo, you can invite like minded people to join you. It may take some time though.

There are no such websites as far as my knowledge goes.
For trekking : you can always visit the Youth hostels website. They offer various trekking, mountaineering and family trekking programmes. But you have to join the pre-programmed outings, you won't be getting to know about travel partners at your will. The website is www.yhaindia.org. This is the only authentic website.
You can join various groups on the net and interact with the group. This may be the only solution for your poser.
