bush is a CHINO...CH ristian I n N ame O nly...he uses his supposed 'faith' to court support from the right wing...how many Christians do you know who would publicly mock another Christian who is about to be executed,(karla faye tucker) especially when he was the one who signed the death warrant? he did that in an interview with Talk magazine, and flat-out lied about an interview tucker had done with larry king-regardless of how you feel about the death penalty, and many, but by no means all, Christians are supporters of the death penalty-but to make light of an impending execution and to publicly mock a condemned inmate is beyond cruel-it's disgusting and evil...he's the worst sort of hypocrite-using his public facade of being some devout Christian to hide a tiny withered soul and an agenda based on authoritarian control...

How can bush be a xtian when he is the devil incarnate? A person so intrinsically evil listens to no one and does what he wants. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is delusional and surrounds himself with people that are just as evil and corrupt as he is (karl rove, "dead eye" dick cheney, condi rice, etc.) He has no heart for to possess one he would not send our brave troops to die for his lie. He is despised throughout the world and commands no respect except MAYBE from his dog Barney who probably uses his leg to pee on.
For 6 LONG years we have had to endure a regime unlike any other.....beginning with the stealing of the 2000 election all the way to the scooter libby trial. This is the most corrupt fascist period in our history and this moron will go down as THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. What a proud legacy from someone who boasted at a commencement ceremony that even a person with a C average can become president.
If there is a god, deliver us from (this) evil. AMEN

Okay, here's a great analogy for you.

A rich parent can give a son fabulous advantages in life that make it easier for them to achieve. Some children use this resource and achieve even better things. Other children squander the wealth and advantages.

That's what the Christian faith is like. God gives us a wealth of gifts and it's up to us to use those gifts wisely. Gifts in terms of what God gives us is not about material things; instead it's about the intrinsic internal gifts, such as kindness, gentleness, wisdom, love, compassion, and intellect.

So, a Christian may be given the gift of wisdom, but it's up to that person to decide how to use and apply those gifts.

First of all, what does wisdom have to do with being a Christian? Secondly, one does not become President without having intelligence and wisdom. It's easy to sit on a high horse and point out other people's lack of judgment. But the truth is, you don't what it is like to be in the President's position so stop being so judgmental.

Your question is neither factually correct nor logically valid. Mr. Bush is a Christian. I salute him for having faith, practicing it, and believeing in it.
There is no logical connection between Christianity and having wisdom. Mr. Bush does have wisdom, although you may not see it or refuse to accept it.
He has not shown any error of judgement. We live in the best country in the world. We have the best economy in the world. We have low unemployment. We have been free of terrorist attacks in the US for six years. What more do you expect?

The war in Iraq is the fault of the crazy muslims who cannot win a fight but feel that fighting and killing each other is somehow better than peace and prosperity.

Muslims are killing each other in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and in the Palestinian territories. Surely you cannot blame all of that on Mr. Bush.

I give him and the military credit for fighting and defeating the enemies of the US, wherever and whenever they are found.

Peter showed great error in denying Jesus, King David sent Bathsheba's husband off to die in war so he could take her to be his wife...this could go on all day. If what makes being a great man of god, or good christian wisdom I think we might all fall short. I think if Jesus were here today we would find him with the prostitutes, and lost, not with a select group of wise, and perfect people.

I wouldn't equate believing in God with being wise. If you mean why isn't he compassionate or decent or ethical, I'd love you to come up with an example of one person with that much power who is or was. Julius Ceasar was a pretty decent man by most accounts but that had nothing to do with being Christian!

So what you're saying is that if you are a Christian that automatically makes you wise??? I don't buy into that and I personally don't care what religious preference Bush has, he's made bad judgements on many issues and continues to do so in Iraq.
