Holidays: Days usually marked by time off from secular work and school for commemoration of an event. Such days may also be occasions for family or community festivities. Participants may view them as being religious or as being largely social or secular affairs.
Eph.5:10,11: "Keep on making sure of what is acceptable to the Lord; and quit sharing with them in the unfruitful works that belong to the darkness, but rather, even be reproving them.
Holidays are/were created by humans. The Bible states only on thing the we should celebrate.
Memorial, Lords Evening Meal, Lords supper
Definition: A meal commemorating the death of Jesus Christ; hence, a memorial of his death, the death that has had effects that are more far reaching than that of any other person. This is the only event that the Lord Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to memorialize.

My holiday would be in March to celebrate the beginning of spring and end of winter. It wouldn't be one of those really commercialized holidays, like Christmas or Valentine's Day, it would be more like one of those cultural/spritual things. Like when you look at National Geographic and you see the people living in grass huts with face paint. My holiday would be celebrated kinda like that. People would dress up in their best clothes, paint their faces, dance, eat good food, and stay up all night. As you can probably tell, I am sick of winter already!

I would create National Smile Day. Maybe it might catch on and be an everyday event. A smile always makes me feel better, how about you?
