Just wondering how flattered (or unflattered) all the originial singers to hit songs felt about Elvis doing "covers" of their music, e.g. The Beatles...Something, etc.

Yes.... Elvis would take songs and make them his own. Elvis did Something and Yesterday better than the Beatles. Elvis came from an era when people could sing unlike today where the majority of singers depend on electronic devices to make them sound good. Most of the original artists are flattered that Elvis would touch their song.

Yes I do. Elvis the King. If I hear Elvis on the radio he commands my attention like a true king.

No. I like new music. i dont really loike any of the 50's or 30's or any music from 1910 to 2000.
