I'm not sure about age limit as a minimum but I know the maximum for IVF etc... is 55 for a woman. However, they will not investigate 'infertility' until a couple have been trying for 2+ years in most circumstances and this is from the time they first consult their doctor. So if you've been trying for 1 year and tell your doctor they will insist you try for another 2 years so they have it in your notes how long you've been trying. This is to stop people lying I believe.

It probably depends on where you live. Different states have different age limits on everything. I believe where I live it's 18. First you need to go to a specialist and make sure that's what needs to be done first. There could be a simpler solution. IVF is rather expensive so I'd see if there was another way. I'm 22 and I have looked into it b/c my husband is paralyzed so I know you can at my age... but like I said go see a specialist! Good Luck!

Id probably think you'd have to be the legal age for most things which is 18 but i think your Doctor would advise trying for a year first then go through testing to see what the problem is etc.. so you'd probably be in your twenties anyway before you got onto the waiting list and then theres the wait severe cases and older couples get treatment first as you have longer on your biological clock than them.

Im not sure but I guess if you have been told you are infertile and theres no chance of conceiving naturally and you are in a stable relationship and want to start a family I guess they'd look at your case on an individual basis. If you havent been told you are infertile then they may expect you to wait quite a while before they would agree to look at IVF. Goodluck x

IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

first you have to see a specialist and find out if there is a reason why you can't conceive. they usually make the patient try for quite a while before any interventions are performed. i used to work for a gyn doctor and she wouldn't perform ivf on anyone under 30...but i'm sure other doctors might.

Not sure about the age to be honest but you do have to have been trying for over 12months. I don't think the age matters unless you're 45+
