I got fifth wheel grease on the back of my uniform jacket. It is made of 100% nylon.

Yes I would do the dawn on it wash it in the washer alone first, then after it is finished washing, look at it and put some Spot Shot, on it. Rub it together with your hands cloth to cloth until it is gone, and then rewash it with other clothes. Look at it before putting it in the dryer to make sure it is gone completely. If not by some shock, I would repeat with dawn again. I don't use hot water ever to wash in. It might be good to not put it in the dryer at all but hang it and let it dry in the shower, and then check it again. Should be gone, won't be wrinkled at all.

In Canada we can buy a product called LESTOIL
It takes any oil, grease, off fabric
Unfortunately, it has a strong smell, so use as little as possible - using a clean rag - then wash
This works on fabric or skin (say, grease on leg from bicycle chain)

I used spectacular or spectacular orange to get black grease off my seat interior the motor vehicle. did not even fade the textile. it is chanced on on the Dolllar Tree or Dolllar well-known. super product for a decrease priced value. Has many different makes use of. solid success.....shouldn't harm outfits or washer. I even have used it or outfits that have been stained. worked super, do only not dry before you attempt....

Old mechanics addage. You clean old oil with new oil. Try WD40 and a knuckle brush.

try "greased lightening". you can get it at walmart. works great on laundry and other stuff! good luck!

try dawn dish soap first if that dont work im thinking acetone or boil it
