I know there is a way to reboot your computer to be reset to an earlier date,(for instance to reset computer hours or days prior) thus deleting programs and info recently added to the computer. Hence not having to reboot system to default program. HELP!

Turn off the computer. Then after a couple of seconds turn it back on. Watch the dos screen at the bottom right it will say which key to hit to do this fix, it's usually something like f8 or f10 something like that. If you have an HP you can also go to All Programs trhen to Accessories then to System tools, then to System restore. Follow directions there.

When booting your computer press "F8", that will putyou at the command line, then type "scanreg /restore". You will have 5 choices as to which day you want to back to. However if it has been moret han 5 days, since you have had problems, it won't work.
