I had wrongly underestimated the S/A that Pakistan will beat them throughly but i must admit that they are fine professional unit with excellent fielding and bowling i sincerily hope they win the world cup Good luck to them

South Africans have always proven themselves to be the best regarding fielding, batting and somewhat bowling ! no doubt they are very good candidates for this world cup.....but i don't know why are they soo unlucky , they always show the best throughout the tournament but lose a very important match at the end and get themselves out of the competition especialy Semis....i call them "unlucky" regarding winning the world cup. Btw SA and NewZealand are my most favourite teams (Ofcourse after Pakistan) and i want any of them to win this worldcup if Pakistan can't!

The South African side is very strong, and has a good chance of winning the World Cup...provided they dont find another way to choke.
They had a strong side in 1996, in 1999, and in 2003, and each time choked at some point to cost themselves a good shot at the title. In 1992 they were strong but that time they were robbed by the stupid rain rules we had in Australia at that time.
If they get to the final this time, then they have a good shot as they have shown the ability to match it with Australia in ODI cricket.

While South Africa and Australia are strong contenders for the World Cup, they cannot take the trophy for granted as cricket is a game of uncertainities and upsets can happen.

btw did u listen to Ramiz Raja's Comments toward the end of the game?
where he pretty much Clearly stated that pakistani batsmen cannot play Short Balls and play on Fast Tracks.. I respected his honesty.
lets just hope pakistan keeps playing on those muddy tracks at home, only pakistan calls those mudtracks 'cricket pitches', it will be a disgrace to call those 'sand traps' a Cricket Pitches.
ps guess what kinda tracks are there in West Indies.
