Yes, rapists and sex offenders should get life without the possibility of parole or early release for the first conviction... and those that torture and/or kill should automatically get Capital Punishment, but the execution should follow in 3 years maximum, not like at present where some Death Row prisoners wait upward of 18 years in prison; 3 years is enough time for the attorneys for rapists and child molestors to either get a retrial, find DNA evidence to exonerate the ******* or have exhausted all appeals and legal maneuvers... otherwise, tough luck! Those sentenced to life should be made to learn a trade and work to pay for his keep and feed; he should be made to learn to make footwear, clotheswear and furniture to be donated to the needy people in Third World countries. That way, they can retire in jail at 65 (those that are young) and they can sit around and watch TV and read books until the drop dead in prison! Those that refuse to work should be put in the general population where the other prisoners can make jailhouse bitches out of them (to "remedy" sexual frustration for the rest of the population!)

Because liberals think that rapist and sex offenders can be cured and turned around. Which every study has proven the opposite, but their seems to be a learning curve we are dealing with.

reality check - life sentences don't exist. even murderers who have been set life sentence don't stay inside for life, they get let out much earlier!
another thing, there is not enough room for everyone to be jailed for life, so they let this sentence to worst crimes - such as murder.
thirdly...how about asking to promote protection against sexual abuse more than asking to jail sexual abusers for life. because really, only about 30% of rapes and sexual abuse actually even get reported! and less that 15% even go to court let alone to be found guilty!
so advertising that anyone who is sexually abused or raped DOES have a chance of jailing their offenders is MUCH more important than getting more years of jail for the offender!
and by the way, its not once rapist always a rapist. a rapist can either be 'cured' or do something worse (like murder)...its very unlikely that he will do nothing else but rape throughout his life.

because there are people out there who think it can be cured.
They think a little rehabilitation and touchy feely conversations with their therapist will make them all better.
So they release them back into society, and they do it again, and again. But typically at this point their crime escalates, typically to murder. Then the former rape victims get to feel the pain all over again. With the, maybe I should have done more to stop him, or is it my fault I didn't kill him when he finished with me, or maybe I wasn't convincing enough so they let him off easy, feeling.
Its a bunch of crap, they literally steal lives and should be given the death penalty for such!

They definetly should get life, not death. It is far more punishing to force someone to live in a cage until death than to kill them sooner by lethal injection.
