Because for one thing no one is ever shown real appreciation and made to feel special any other timne of year. We all need a day that recognizes the sacrifices we make. Obviously you are a man. Must not be a father either as you would understand how special it is not only for the once recieving but equally if not more so for the one giving on those days.

most of these holidays are pretty old and are usually used to show a loved one that we care also i think the mother/fathers day is to show how much we love and appreciate them on one day because as we get older we don't always see them and don't always show them how grateful we are to them so i think just having one day to show them we care means a little something and valentines day i believe used to have a meaning and then Hallmark turned it into something else hahaha

Its not a need, its all about personal satisfaction for yourself and the other willing party. Plus it helps in card sales with the rest of the other made up card giving holidays.

I always heard that holidays like those were made up by the greeting card companies. I guess to help boost sales year round.

The "seventh day" has no mention of "evening and morning" (allegory: darkness and light: law and grace); And it's already "the third day" is also the seventh day when counting the days in John 1 and 2:1 of the Holy Bible: which things are an "allegory": Galatians 4. Eg: "one day [is] as a thousand years": 2Peter 3:8.

Such an eternal day("light": God called the light "day") begins with a sabbaths shewdown: For two sabbaths (such as the two sabbaths of Easter) is one too many sabbaths; And a "Lord also of the Sabbath" (Son of Man) is also one too many Lords.
As for Valentines Day(Light), it got canceled in 1969 for being an orgy of consumerism; or we could say light that has darkness.

Funny thing is, six countries who consider themselves to be enLIGHTend still celebrate a holiday which got canceled over three decades ago by the people who started it, the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican.
As for Christmas, it's the holiday (holyday, holylight) with the most lies attached; And more likely the conception time of Jesus than the birth time of Jesus when looking closer at the evidence.

As for Mothers Day, Jerusalem above is the mother of us all; And the mother of them all: Jerusalem below, is in bondage(law) with her children(get tossed to<=>fro by winds[spirits] of doctrine).
As for Easter, it's pretty obvious seven last utterances with two Gods in the midst results in "forsaken" and resurrection appearances can be deceiving if foretold "there shall arise false christs", notably to "deceive" and "seduce" even the "very elect", "if possible".

POTUS? He wants to take his rod of iron 'rule of law' global, as flat out stated in his second coming speech. But the Holy Bible says: "whether prophecies, they shall fail"(1Corinthians 13:8). Jonah's Great Fish Story is an example of prophecies failing, notably when the people believe God, rather than such law law.
Prime MINISTER of Israel? Awful Lawful; is not Grace Us. I guess he hasn't heard Moses' Law was a "great terror"-ist to all Israel (of Jacob->Israel): Deuteronomy 34:12, and such law law even made the great terrorist Moses exceedingly fear and quake (Hebrews 12) at Mount Sinai "in Arabia" (Galatians 4).
There's one "day" with no evening and morning.
One "light" with no darkness and light in such.
One "God" with no law and grace in such God.
"That God" is "light" having no darkness at all.
"That day": The Third Day: has already begun.
It's not the "last days", but rather the "last day".
The last days tried to end with Y2K, but failed.
For grace is much more abounding than law.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

to show your parents and sweetie what they mean to you. kids have special days everyday . and parents give and give so one day a year is not to much to tell them you love them with a gift. also it is a chance for the stores to make more money!
