Thats Beckhams SALARY! And its not in Euros. I believe its about 210 million euros. If salary is judged on skill of the playe alone(which its not unfortunately), then Ronaldinho would be at least 2 billion euros. However, salary is a combo of skill and image. Like him or not as a footballer, you cant deny Beckhams ability to transcend football and enter the realm of the entire entertainment world which significantly increases his wages. Example, in 2005, Roger Federer dominated the tennis scence but Agassi earned far more than him in 2005.

Look I'll tell you something, Beckham for his Skill his price will be only50m Euro.While Ronaldinho his price for skill will be about 250m euro.But in normal ratings I agree with you Ronaldinho is worth 900m euro in front of Beckham.

L.A is not paying for a soccer player, they are paying for an attention grabber. They want to expand the market in which their product is recognizable. Ronaldino is not recognizable to many folks in America, but Beckham is so publicing, it is hard not to find someone who is familiar with him. But you original question was, how much would they pay the Brazilian, probably the most in the league, but nowhere near 250 mil.
