IMO Bush is a criminal. His willfull violation of the US Constitution by ordering illegal wiretaps, email surveillance, document searches, detentions and torture are so blatantly illegal and abusive that great damage has been done to our constitutional republic. That damage can only be repaired to any real degree by impeachment. His deception of Congress in lying about the intelligence regarding nonexistent WMDs and Al Qaeda ties to Iraq also is an impeachable violation of the War Powers set forth in the Constitution. Beyond that, his mismanagement of the Iraq and to a lesser extent of the Afghanistan wars, his rejection of sound military advice and strategy in favor of following the advice of men like Rumsfeld who have no knowledge of ground warfare, his refusal to commit large levels of troops purely for political purposes so as to keep the war popular while not criminal was surely reckless and incompetent. His lying to the American people about every turn of the war since then was reprehensible. The man is solely responsible for the disaster in Iraq, the destruction of our constitutional liberties and the weakening of the checks and balances of our Republic and the decline of American interests and alliances abroad and for trebling or more the size of the terrorist forces against us. He is, in a word, a disaster for our nation, one which must be removed by impeachment at the earliest possible opportunity.

Mr. Bush is a man who should have never tried to become President! He has failed miserably, as a leader and ruined this country financially, was a divider of the people not a uniter, did not earn the trust, respect and confidence of the American people!!! Caused other countries to look down on America !!! He has kept eight(8) million + American workers in poverty since 1997 by not raising the minimum wage!!!! The increase they propose is $7.25hr by 2010! 1997=$5.15>2010 =$7.25! WOULD YOU WORK 12yrs FOR A 17.6cent an hr increase in your pay!!!

In reading some of these answers, I wonderwhat these brain washed people do for a living. I hope they are not in important decision-making positions!
Iraq: In his zeal to flex his newly-aquired power, GW decided to overthrow the Iraqi government. Although he did get rid of a dictator, his actions plunged Iraq into chaos. Yet, he celebrated that we had won the war.
Now our country is caught up in a "Sophie's Choice" type of dilemma: do we send more troops to attempt to stabilize certain areas of Iraq, or do we leave the business of putting the country back together to the Iraqis?
Bush has no pull-out plan. He is determined to occupy both Iraq and Afghanistan for the remainder of his term. Then let the poor democratic president subsequent to his administration deal with the problem.
Bush and his administration have shown they are impulsive, careless, and entirely self-serving.
He continues to push bills for allocation of billions of dollars for the continued occupation; and send thousands of troops to occuppy Iraq and Afghanistan. All because he does not want to admit it was all a big mistake in invading those countries, and formulate a viable exit strategy.
Note to the writer who claims he cut taxes: mine are as high as ever!
