If you live where there is a market that sells imports from around the world, most carry these. These kind of markets are often in tourist towns or tourist areas of cities. Look in your local phonebook for imports or souvenir shops.
I know of a terrific one in Vancouver, B.C., but don't know if they do mail order.

You can find a hacky sack in a couple places like target, sports authority, and sports stores. You can also make a hacky sack if you know how to knit. You knit a big square and fill it up with some corn in a plastic bag and then you put the bag inside the square and sew it up into a ball shape! Good Luck!!!
