No. It is not true. What was believed to be someone hanging in the backgroudn has been shown through digital imaging to be a simple combination of tree branches, leaves, and a large bird. That combination, when seen from a proper angle could be mistaken for a hanging midget. That myth has been around fro years but it has only beein in the last few that the technilogy has existed to put it to rest once and for all.

No, it's an urban legend. Check out http://snopes.com for more information under the movies section (I'd link straight to it but I'm using a library PC and it won't let me onto that site!)
I don't think they'd let the film be released if it were true!

Urban legend, but in the movie Three Men and A Baby, in one scene, you can see a little boy in the background that supposedly shot himself in the studio. I know it is there, I've seen it with my own eyes. Creaped me out. He is standing in the curtains in the background when one of the guys is talking to his mother. Later there is a shotgun in the same place. Check it out.

I just saw a documentary on tv which mentioned this and said it is untrue. The explaination was that it was the silhouette of a large bird (emu, I believe) moving about.

It probably is true - the film world is a harsh place.
Some people will go to any lengths to be in a movie!!!
But I hope it isn't true - you have put me off going to see the film!!!
On the other hand...
