Did james brown play a saxsophone and what type ?

I was just wondering if james brown played a saxsophone and the type ;) i got a saxsophone of my own and i just listend to his song I feel good so i just wanted to know ;)

James Brown could play the piano, but he was not a saxophonist. Thank you for asking about the Godfather. I sure miss him!

I don't think he did. He didn't have time to--he danced a LOT.
