If you were giving a summary of the rules, norms, traditions, and values your culture or subgroup, to a person who is not from your country how would you do it?

That's really hard. The problem is that most cultural norms are so normal to people, that they only become conscious of them when they are broken.
The best advice I can give is before going to a foreign country for a longer stretch of time is to learn about that country as much as possible. Meet people who've been there, meet people from that country etc. The more you know and soak in, the less you will step on people's toes.
