It's a smokers paradise in Spain. NOBEL (similar but smoother than Silk Cut) cost euros 24 per carton of 200. B&H and other foreign brands cost around 32 euros/carton. You can ONLY buy fags at a licenced tobacconist which may be difficult to find; so don't get caught short. Buy a carton and avoid the stress ! Don't toss cig ends out of a car window; if caught you will get fined ! One can smoke in some restaurants which are marked "Se permitte a fumar". Others have a designated area and others are marked "No Fumar". Bars are generally OK if you see an ashtray on the table/bar. Good Luck. Eddie.

I live in Calpe in Spain which is 20 mins drive from Benidorm, I buy cigarettes there all the time and they are 2 Euros 30 Cents for Fortuna (20 pack), which is the most popular brand and is similar to Regal king size, 2 Euros 30 cents is around 1 pound 52 pence at todays exchange rate. It always cheaper of course to buy packs of 200 but at these prices you can't go wrong! A pack of 200 Fortuna is 22-23 Euros. Marlboro and other American and UK branded cigarettes are more expensive so you are better off with the Spanish brands i.e Fortuna, they taste just the same anyway. Hope it helps.

If you are prepared to smoke Spanish Fags i.e Winston, Malboro, Fortuna etc you will find them about half price when compared to UK prices. Winston 2.40 Malboro 2.75 prices in Tobacco Shops. Machines in Bars a little more expensive.
Silk Cut B&H etc prices in Spain were recently increased as there are so many tourists coming to Spain on Easyjet/Ryanair to buy fags. These are more expensive than Spanish fags like 3€ +

Regal/Embassy are anout 36 euro for 200.
They only sell them at the "Tabac" shops now due to a change in spanish law, so it is pointless searching round for a better deal, as all the tabac shops sell them at the same price

The price of buying bulk tobacco for self-use is probably a reduction in life expectancy.
