Pros and cons? Personal Reviews? Is the regular chocolate really better?

there is the LG VX8600 -- the flip verison and the LG VX 8500 (i think) -- the slider verison. google it.

i just bought the VX8600 before that i had a VX7000 go with the VX8600 the regular chocolate is complete crap the slider breaks it freezes and the touch buttons on the front don't always work or lock when you make/receive a call...the only thing i don't like on the chocolate flip is the fact that it picks up fingerprints really well and you'll always be rubbing them off...they make clip on covers for this or vinyls they also have silicon covers you can find all of these on eBay...i wouldn't trade this phone for another one

If you read the reviews, I think the only thing neat about it is the name. Cingular has a U500 or something that looks nearly the same. You would be surprised on how much publicity and a name will make a phone. Look at the iphone to come out in June. By then there will be other phones. The only thing about it is the big screen and yet nothing new.

for one the chocolate is not a flip phone. it is a slider. it is cool because it is a phone and a mp3 player all in one. but since the mp3 buttons are touch sensitive, they have a tendency to switch when it your pocket or sometimes wont do what u want it to do. it is cool but LG has to work out the bugs. until they fix it, i would not reccomend it.
