ZOMBIE...that's why you are not in the Military. Not all women complain about not having showers, and running out of make-up. You're in the desert, and you need make-up why? To impress the Iraqi's? Give me a break, women fought for so long for equal rights, and you're going to talk about how they shouldn't be in the military. I can see you will go far in life. And btw women can shoot guns. Maybe you can't because you don't want to break a nail, but that's why you will do nothing noble with your life.
And as to the person who asked this question, maybe if you made it an actual question with a point, I may be able to give you some feedback. But you can't even ask a questions properly which means you probably don't need to know the answer.

Huh??
In a very slightly related answer. I think that women should be allowed in the army, but not in front line service.
This is because women are physically weaker than men, and however you argue it, the average woman will not be able to carry a wounded male soldier to cover. To allow women on the front line is endangering the lives of soldiers for teh sake of political correctness.
Sorry if this has nothing to do with the 'question' :p

I am not sure what your question is? Yes women in the army do face the same danger as men...but your question appears to limit women to the stereotyped image of women. First, women are no longer limited to capacity of nurse. In fact there are no positions that I am aware of that women can not hold. Second, medical staff as well as pilots have a completely different role in the military than what we are led to believe on tv shows such as MASH. Finally, I hope that some day we will not have the problems of sending young persons in harms way, but I guess my view of the future is just as muddied as yours appears to be.

A woman can be in any branch, however some branches are much more friendly and welcome to women than others. Typically the Air Force is considered the most female friendly (mostly due to increased opportunity and already large female population) and the Marines are considered the least (mostly because of their high physical standards which many women fail to meet and their lack of opportunity for women.)

I am not sure what question you are asking because of the way you phrased the question, but I would say that yes, there should be as much equality as possible. I wish the world did not need armies, but since it does, women should be able to join, and women will do their job well.

My daughter was in the Army and there are plenty of female military people. They can all be in harms way at the same time. No different.

Exactly. Women can't run fast, can't shoot a gun correctly, whine too much if they don't get a shower or have makeup, can get raped by their male officers or male army people, can be raped by the enemy, and cause the men too much trouble to look after. They don't have any reason to be in the army.
