typically /historicaly people in the agricultural line of work do no receive any recognition, they do not have the right by law to form a union, they are the lowest paid workers in the United States..visit ciw-online.org & get a feel for what the life of a farm workers is like.

And by the way if there is a will there is a way, several farm workers that I know of in the Florida fields have received the Robert F.Kennedy Humanitarian Award for their work

Because they are not organised,they do not know how to lobby in the corriders of power that be in the capital, and because no city dweller is bothered to how and from where food grains come to city.
City folks/politicians don't care about the wefare of rural and agri based people.

They are not united. Then who will care them?
They live in misbeliefs in their leaders, however they may be.
Being illeterate can't make market study and grow their crops. They don't have any protection against natural calamities, rates and good seeds at an affordable price.
Being poor can't store their product till they get good value. Merchants and comission agents easily cheat them.
Governments are elected by poor farmers but work for rich merchants, industrialists, gangsters, smugglers etc.

Who said they don't get any rewards?... can you be alive without their agriculture? they are keeping the world alive man... Which is the reward more than that?

Brcause they live in rural with less awareness about many things and highly disorganised.
