No I don't. Why bother? it just makes the situation worse. Better to face whatever the issue is, head on, and deal with it, then move on and enjoy your life.

Hi vegetable soup,
I suppose so, I will avoid an argument, if I think I may hurt someone, reason is my style.
(reason because there are no losers).
It doesn't always work and confrontation will happen.
(I avoid it because I hate bad feeling).
I try to end the whole thing as friends, sometimes it goes pear shaped, and a friend or colleague will take some winning round.
I never get into an argument where I will use an insult, that stays with a person forever, and I lose my sense of self worth; because of what I've said.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, depends on the situation. I like to be in a confrontation, if it is really needed. I avoid confrontation when it is useless.Sometimes I hate to confront because I'm scared. But just like I say face your fears and have courage to every challenges.

I avoid it at all costs. Mostly because I'm not a fast enough thinker and I can't come up with defenses or counterpoints fast enough. I'll bluff my way through a confrontation, then after it's over, it comes to me what I SHOULD have said. Every single time.

No. I always face it head on. I've come to discover that it's the only way forward. Truth will out whether you like it or not and on that you can decide what you truly want. If you avoid it, things you want to say don't get said and you end up stuck in the same old rut wondering why.

Depends on the issue. If it's really important, then no, I don't avoid confrontation.
As regards pointless political arguments like here in Yahoo Answers, I can do without them. I value my freedom of speech, but that doesn't mean I need to express it in every situation.
Life presents enough aggravation and conflict on its own without creating or seeking additional trouble.

Sometimes, I teach kids whose parents are very uneducated and it is a high crime area. So if we are having a discusion and they can't see things my way, well, I just let them think they are right just to end the argument. Parents have been known to hit teachers in my school and some have pulled knives out. I just don't let things get out of hand. I simply say, "Well, maybe you're right" and end the disucssion and fix it when I can and do what I have to do.

Never. What's the point? If something bothers you, you need to sort it out, otherwise it will fester until confrontation just falls in your lap in a much bigger messier way than if you'd just stood up for yourself in the first place...

I do, I really do but it seems it seeks me out. My personality attracts confrontation like a moth to a flame. Reality check.
