For instance I know that they are constantly harping on about the war on terrorism,and some of their worries and points are valid but are delivered with such a clear vitriolic hatred of the US that I can't deal with them. So can they ever support America? When the first terrorists start suicide bombing targets in the US again,which should start right after the election of a democrat who stops all anti terrorism measures,will the libs want to fight back then?

The libs will cry out loud, they will establish a gazillion committees, the media will have a field day as to the incompetence of the government, the politicians will talks, the politicians will visit and in the end, not a damn thing will have been accomplished. But enough time will have passed so nobody will notice anyway.

Fear monger, you use an appropriate screen name. You also are making statements that are pure speculation, just like our President. Who in our country wouldn't fight if an enemy ever actually landed on our shores? Not the BS about them being in our back yards if we don't run all over the globe trying to wipe out an enemy we can't even find in Iraq. The republican base is just too willing to believe all the crap about cut and run and the Dems are going to tax you to death. Leaving Iraq is not cutting and running, it's more like a business decision, don't throw good money after bad, know when to cut your loses. As a republican that should be easily understandable. Fact, eventually this war is going to have to be paid for, when it happens, who will you blame, whoever is in power, or President Bush for putting us into this massive debt? This may be hard to comprehend but others besides republicans do support this country, that's why you see so much dissent and opposition to the President.

They do ! The issue lies when they describe their America. Government control, higher taxes, banning any form of war. Look at France and how it is ran. That is the utopia of liberalism. Look at the Clinton years, good economy, very few conflicts. Oh , that's right, he let Bin Laden go so George Bush had to deal with 9/11. Nice job liberals. We know what happened after that.

No. Liberals exist to point out the evils of society. If all the evils went away what use would there be for liberals. They like to run around spouting injustice past and present to make people feel there is still a need for them. If we woke up tomorrow in Utopia they would complain that we had made no provisions for people who enjoy being miserable.

Liberals don't hate the United States. We love it and the people and policies we have an issue with are in opposition to the ideals that this country stands for.
Is it pro or anti-American to want the administration to respect the United States Constitution?
Is it pro or anti-American to want the administration to simply not lie to the American people?
Is it pro or anti-American to want to solve the problems of poverty and homelessness?
Is it pro or Anti-American to oppose a war started on a false premise that is hurting this country, both militarily and economically?
Is it pro or Anti-American to oppose policies of intervention in other countries that favor torture and indefinite imprisonment for people we can't even prove are enemies?
Is it pro or Anti-American to reject the concept of a search or surveillance without a warrant?
I can go on... but those are liberal platforms that the right would say are all anti-american in their own vitriolic rhetoric.
Anyone thinking that liberals hate America needs to go back to civics class, and fast. If you believe liberals hate America, your concept of America is backwards.
