remove battery DONT turn it on untill tommorrow put somewhere warm (top of radiator) after wiping off excess water from inside battery compartment and any internal areas you can get to if you can unscrew it do so and dry each bit as much as you can but at least leave a few hours b4 tryin to turn on if you can take it apart.good luck

I had this Problem with a Sony Walkman a few years ago, it fell off my belt into Seawater. I picked it up and it wouldnt play so when i got Home took Batteries out and Flushed it under the Tap and after shaking out the water left it to Dry for a couple of Days. When i tried it with the Original Batteries it did not work so i threw them out and used fresh Batteries it worked a treat .I had no Problems afterwards with the Walkman and continued to use it for a few years after. I eventually lost it on Holidays in Bruge in Belgium it was quite Battered and old by this stage.
The Seawater is Corrosive so its importent that none remains ,it had a bad Effect on the Batteries. I would give it a Flush out with Fresh Water and after drying use fresh Batteries. Good Luck.

remove the battery, and put it in a the airing cupboard (the phone...) or somewhere warm for a few days.. then retry with battery in.. although as you already tried to fire it up when soaked it may be scrap.. claim on your house insurance... a puddle is much like a bath if you see what i mean...

Let it dry out completely before you try to use it again.
