Wow what a thought; I guess there is no reason why they couldnt....(we reletively have the same sexual organs...) but we still arent from the same species. That is the key, although we are genetically the same, we are along different family trees that have become far too alien to each other......
An offspring would be generated, but would be far too disabled by the fact that there would be too many conflicting priorities in the generic make up....

There have been reports that at least appear to be
reliable of orangutans mating with women. There
have been many totally unreliable reports of such
things with gorillas and possibly other primates.
Despite the genetic similarity between chimps and
humans (which appears to be somewhat exaggerated) it is unlikely that any offspring would
be produced, because of the difference in
chromosome number. If there were living offspring (children?) they would almost certainly
be sterile, again because of the chromosome
number difference. I have never heard of a case
in which any genuine tests of interfertility have been made, however. One researcher claims that
the orangutan is more closely related to humans
than the chimpanzee or bonobo are. The chimp
is said to have 10% more DNA than humans, so
the genetic similarity must be less than 90%, not
the 95% often claimed. Even at 95% this would
represent differences in hundreds of genes.

a male of most species will get turned on by anyone putting out a female hormone smell
so it more than possible that a native female in lets say Africa at some point has had sex with a primate
of some sort or another heater this produced any offspring is another matter
it is strongly rumored that during the second world war in search of a super strength soldier the Nazis attempted to interbreed females with primates how this was done is not known i leave that to your imagination

Well, nothing has ever stopped humans from having sex with other non-human animals. It's called bestiality.
Other mammals can detect when a female is in heat. Dogs know when their female owners are menstruating.
But no, there is enough difference in human and higher primates DNA to prohibit breeding.

IN THEORY, yes, it is possible. In one evolution class, the teacher actually said that if one day humans were on the verge of extinction, that would be what we would have to do, and when that happened, the chosen species of primate would evolve into something like a human, again, in theory. I know it sounds goss, but that's what humans do when they want to save species in captivity or on the verge of extinction, when the population lacks enough males or females they mate it with a close species, but anyway, I don't think humans will be on this case, do you?

Yes it is, possible, for primates to at least have sex with human beings. I have documented evidence of humans having sex with animals, although not primates, such as horses and dogs.

yes of course it is technically possible since the organs are similar. Whether a male orangutan would try to mate with a human woman .... hmmm, I don't think so. But knowing the male propensity to try and mate with anything that breathes (or even doesn't breathe, think about rubber dolls!), then I guess there are some guys that would give it a go!
Yuk!
Also, horrible how it sounds, but an ancient Roman public entertainment was to get donkeys to mate with (tied-up) female prostitutes, usually with horrific bodily injuries to the woman. Sorry to mention it, but it is related to this subject. Yuk and double-yuk!

The chimpanzee is a closer genetic relation to humans than donkeys are to horses and they can mate. A human could mate with a chimp and have a strange child. The child would not be fertile but would not otherwise be deformed (of course it would look like a huma- chimp hybrid).
Gorillas and orangutans certainly could mate with humans but there would be no chance of producing offspring.
A male gorilla has an errect penis of 1.5", an orangutan around 2" and a chimp around 2.5" (3.5" for a bonobo pygmy chimp). Of all the primates human males have the largest penis in terms of size and as a % of their body size. So women should think themselves lucky!

There have been cases of Primates raping women, of course it is rare but male Gorillas do get attracted to female human beings. You would not get a viable offspring though of course.

Yes a primate could have sex with a human, but there is enough difference in our DNA that an offspring couldn't happen.
