A more relevant and important question is, "What is AFRICA doing to make Africa a better place?"
And the answer to that question is, "not much."
If the governments of that country won't help themselves, why should they expect aid from the rest of the world, and why should we give it?
Nope, sorry, there are more important things for me to give my money to - like helping the poor in my OWN country.

More chickens are being fried today and more watermelons grown than ever before.
Give them some pot-seeds, so Africa can at least grow to be happy and chilled (they might not war so much then).
