ok i want to download lime wire but i dont know if it is illegall or not. some people say it isnt and others say it is so which one is it?? please help me thanx.

Lime Wire is not illegal... but downloading copyright materials without paying for them is.
Lime Wire is just the software to share files..
sharing illegal files (child porn etc..) and copyright files (albums, songs, movies) without the owners permission or paying for the file is illegal.

First of all, Limewire is Hard Spyware. It will demolish your entire computer system and throw all your personal information on share...I request you NOT TO USE LIMEWIRE AT ALL.If U have then Un-install NOW.
Better to use Bit-torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

Limewire itself isn't illegal. However, downloading copywrited music from a site such as this is. All music is protected by copywrite laws; they are copywrited in the country in which they were recorded. This is what happened with Napster years ago.
Go buy the music.

The sharing of the music and video is illegal. Limewire just provides the means with which to do this.

i Don't think it's illegal.It's Legal where i am (Egypt) but 'm not sure about the US
