hedgehogs are good, wrap them in mud, put em straight in the coals of your bbq, cook till done, then take the mud off and the spikes come off with it

I would say it depends on where you egt the hamsters from. I would stick to chicken myself.

I think they could be, but it takes too many to make a decent meal.
