this is a question on a trivia show on a radio station that I listen to. Some of the answers have been Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey with Boyz2Men as having the first singles to debut at #1. My co-workers and I are stumped. Any help that can be given will be appreciated. The question is very vague, but that is all that they are giving.

Sailing by Rod Stewart and Ziggy Stardust by David Bowie are the only two songs to reach the top 10 in Britain on two separate releases.

"Love Maker" by Betty Wright and "Not Fade Away" by Buddy Holly are the only two songs Foreigner recorded not written by a band member.

"She Loves You" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" are the only two Beatles songs recorded in German.

"Take 5" by Dave Brubeck and "Living in the Past" by Jethro Tull are the only songs written in 5/4 time signature to reach the top 10.

Two Tommy James & the Shondells covers ("I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany and "Mony Mony" by Billy Idol) were consecutive number-one hits in 1987.

Two songs have performed a "hat trick" by reaching number-one on Mainstream Rock Tracks, Modern Rock Tracks, and Adult Top 40. The first was "One Headlight" by The Wallflowers in 1997. The second was "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day in 2005.

"The biggest drop in Billboard Hot 100 chart history was from #1 to #15. Which two songs, back-to-back in 1974, took that dive? Billy Preston's "Nothing From Nothing" and "Then Came You" by Dionne Warwick and the Spinners."
