Life is filled with trouble, and things will always go wrong. But nothing happens outside the sovereign plan of God. Regardless of what I might experience, it was "in the cards" so to speak. Step 1 for me is introspection - what did I do to cause the wrong. Step 2 is forgiveness - forgive any who may have caused the wrong. Step 3 is attitude - have a positive attitude knowing all things are ordained for a purpose to be fully revealed at a later date.

If it is someone who has hurt you, then you will feel better if they come find you and apologise, but if it is just you having a bad day, or people seem to be less kind than usual then you can let that roll off your back like water off a ducks back, by going out with friends, meditation, eating your favorite ice cream, shopping for new shoes....you are capable of making yourself feel better just by being kind to yourself, you do not always need someone else to make things better.

My Mom. She will put me in a good mood or at least make me feel better about the situation every time. I also like to pour my thoughts on paper or in a journal. This releases the stress and tension tremendously. Doing a hard workout or hitting the punching bag helps as well. A good long walk to nowhere can do wonders also.

Perspective and going through the pain/grief/annoyance. Wherever I have a REAL problem...ie someone died...the best thing for me is just acceptance that this, too, shall pass in approximately 5 years, at the most.

Apart from that listing the problems...as if its someone elses...and advising that person (plus going for many solitary walks) helps. So who can make me feel better? Me....no-one else. Keeping a clear conscience is the best way to stop "****" from happening.

My friends always make me feel better if things go wrong,in fact they are always there for me.My dog also makes me feel better cause she runs and she jumps all over the place and in this way she makes me laugh and forget all the bad things that happened.

List of things that can make you feel better:

The first thing I know is music. Everytime you feel depressed you can listen to any music that you can relate yourself and your problems.

Next is expressing your emotions. If you're sad, cry as much as you want. Any attempt of hiding it will make things worse.

Third is optimism. Always think positive. It really helps.

Who can make you feel better:

God. He always hears your prayers. He never forgets you.

Your family and friends. They got your back through thick and thin.

this is in no particular order and application depends on the situation: chocolate, a phone call to a supportive friend, watching comedy central, or any distraction. but sometimes fixing the situation is better, like if you hurt someone's feelings - say you are sorry. they may not forgive you, but you will have done what is right.

I always feel better if I do something for someone. Makes me feel needed and helpful and reminds me that the world is not all bad.

A nice long ride on my Harley Davidson... You have to concentrate to ride safely, so all the other troubles just go onto pause and start to fade.

Doing a good deed for a fellow human also helps greatly.

It depends on how seriously things went wrong. Friends can make small problems disappear, but my experience is that if your life really turns upside down, only God and prayer can carry you through.
