I would leave it... I have the protective cover too... If you would like to get an Idea of what Its like... pull it back and walk around for a few days... My friend had his removed at 17. He didn't come to school for 6 weeks... he claims laying in bed with a fan on it, and a bottle of Jack Daniels helped. LOL Some Sites explain that if you have not been Circumcised, you may be better off, and they claim that it helps prevent infections and such. Cant remember the site.. But look into it!

Why on earth would you want to do this to yourself? Be thankful that your parents had the good sense to leave you the way you were made.

According to a study cited by Dr. Dean Edell, circumcision actually significantly reduces sexual pleasure for women partners http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/...

And most men who have had the procedure wish they had not. Take a look at http://www.norm.org

Unless you have penile cancer, frostbite, gangrene, or certain other very, very rare conditions, stay as you are. Those are the only really important reasons to decrease your sexual pleasure and your woman's pleasure as well by going through this barbaric procedure.

If you are having no health problems leave it be, Ive been told that it is quite painful to have done
and
you wont wanna wear pants, you will probably prefer to wear skirts, cause it would be very sensitive after being covered for so long

Had a friend who's hubby told me how he was circumsized at 8 and he wouldnt want to go through that every again

dall4wwf: if you paid attention in school, you wouldnt have said something that stupid.

anyway, mary L has it right. if it aint broke, dont fix it. there is absolutely no clear evidence for "benefit" in circumcision aside from anything cosmetic. having it done now is actually a GREATER risk, since you are older and you are able to remember the intense pain it will cause you, unlike a newborn child. I've seen it done to a newborn; it was the most horrific thing i've ever witnessed

Keep the hat. That is if you are not having any problems....There is no medical reason for getting cut...purely cosmetic. If you like it, keep it....
