It isn't that women consider it trivial, It's that we have to do the cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, budgeting, doctor appts, school functions etc...
We get to tired, stressed and just run to the ground.
If men would take a bigger parental role we woman would love sex more often.
Every woman likes her man to make her feel loved, wanted & desired. we are just too tired to enjoy it anymore.

that is not true one bit. married women with children still want sex and in fact a woman primes in her midthirties. Of course, when she reaches menopause then sex becomes trivial which is why she should start taking hormone pills. However, if a woman does see sex as trivial then it could be because of boredom. Having to sleep with the same person for the rest of ur life is not easy, no one said love is easy which is why u need to work on it constantly. A bored woman should try to find out why she feels that way, ask herself if she fell out of love? her man has gained weight? unhappy in her relationship? any negativity in a relationship causes problems. Also, it might be a medical issues, if a woman tries to resolve these issues at home with her partner and gets nowhere then she should visit a doctor. Otherwise, act spontaneous and try new things. Buy a magazine!

I don't think its considered a trivial issue, After Women have children life changes..There life becomes less important,The children/spouse becomes number 1 in there lifes..Children are a blessing, Most women go to extreme measures to care for there children..Most work fulltime at there job,then its home to care for her family..Believe me there were lots of times that i was to tired for sex..But you must make time for it..

May b coz after givin birth to children the responsibility of a women increases so now 4 them children r more important than anything.

We don't however we are REALLY tired, have no time for ourselves,(think a long hot bath ALONE, pedicure, haircut)and have "given" every thing we have to the little people, often their is NOTHING left to "give" to our spouse....IF you want to re-program her...check into a local hotel for the weekend without the kids...when you return from your weekend, help with dishes, bedtime rituals etc so she is not WIPED out by eight o'clock, go to bed early and make it a point to TALK and CUDDLE-it might take a couple nights of reprogramming to get some action but it's time well spent!

Women are tired. First, as mentioned in other answers, they are physically worn out. In general, husbands have dumped on them all of the responsibilities of keeping house and child rearing. At our home, my wife and I work at being a team. I assist with the laundry and shopping. She helps with painting the house or doing yard work.
Second, they are tired of the man's attitude "you are here to please me." Slavery is not legal in the US, nor are wives here for just our pleasure. Making love is a two way street. Each other should be trying to please the other. If I have not satisfied my wife during a sexual interlude, then I feel I'm not doing my job.
You need to talk with your wife and tell her what the problem is. And, LISTEN to what she says is her problem. The two of you should be able to work this out.

it might be that she feels unattractive. Tell her that you still want her, and that you find her very attractive. Next time you see her naked how about saying something like 'hon, your body really turns me on' and try to sound like you mean it too.

Its because they know that after they have a guys kid that they dont have to please a man to keep him anymore. They know that now the man has to pay them everything he has and she just has to shop in the mall and the man has no choice but to keep on paying and paying and paying

its not trivial..its control..if they have the control they dont need it and consider it secondary for that reason.
