I click on a link, and it opens a new window, but its the same page?

Ive recently been having troubles viewing websites, as I click to open a new window, and then the new window shows the exactly same page I had opened before. I thought initially it was only a few pages, but now it seems heaps. Can anyone please help me fix it?
