I don't think it's so much a question of whether they should be allowed to do jobs that put them in danger. If they chose that job then they have assessed the risk and decided to go for it.I think the real issue is,are they capable of doing the job to the maximum efficiency and without putting anyone else at risk. I know which gender I'd rather have carrying me out of a burning building!

Yes women should do dangerous jobs. You want the right to vote don't you? Then you need to step up and do the exact same jobs as men without wanting special exemptions for danger.

Should men do jobs that place them in physical dangers?
Everybody should work in safe environment.
Yet, there are some occupations that are difficult for women due to our physical built. Women, in general, do not have that muscular strength men have. Being such the case, women should avoid raising weights etc.

I think female police officers have a pretty dangerous job...especially those that go undercover!
My neice is 19 and training to be a welder...She will be hanging off bridges and working on battleships when she is finished and wearing heavy equipment in high temperatures...Not many women in this type of work...Previously my neice was a whitewater rapids guide which also is dangerous..
CIA,FBI,NSA all dangerous jobs.... How about a bungee instructor...or one of those tandem skydivers....Lots and lots of dangerous jobs that women do...Astronauts...another one...fighter pilots, combat ground troups, doctor or nurse on the front lines in war, a sciwntist who works with infectious diseases to find cures for diseases....Hope this helps!

A lot of trades jobs are dangerous for men and women, but they have to get done. Women should do whatever they please. If it involves physical danger, some will do it anyway.

Kitchens can be very dangerous places with so many electrical appliances. Iron's can be very dangerous also giving a nasty burn if not careful. Pushing a shopping trolley can also lead to back strain, and clipped heel syndrome.
