They need to drop Sehwag and keep Pathan as the allrounder. For the openers they need to have either Gambhir or Uttappa to partner Ganguly. Sachin should play at no.4 and he is really the answer for India winning the Cup this time. He has always scored the most runs in the world cups that he has played and this time too he needs to fire on all cyclinders.

Indians have given excellent performances in West Indies earlier. This time too they have given good performance by beating the West Indies in their home pitches inspite of a few good players not performing to their potential. Now, they all have got back their forms, very much in time for world cup. So with good effort, fight till last with never say die spirit and goddess luck smiling on us, I believe that 1983 is sure to be repeated this time.
India has never had such a good team and enviable record as in the recent past. So, Good luck Indian team. You do your duty and leave the result for the almighty. Just do your duty with sincerity and no overconfidence. As you sow, so you reap.

india can certainly win the world cup provided all other teams field only five of their players with one hand tied behind their back.
one more way to win the cup is to make a film wherein the players are shown winning the cup.they certainly act better than they play.dont they?

like the australian team,we should have the spirit to play,all the 10
players should be able to play till the last,saurav gangualy should
be the captain,and sachin tendulker and saurav gangualy are the

Players should play cricket only. They are running behind commercials. Where do they get time to concentrate on cricket. Commercial should be banned at least for the first few years of a player.
