Mcmahon is from WWE and not from TNA.
Challenges r to make money just like bettings.
TNA wrestlers sometime challenge the WWE just for a match. if they win they r rewaaarded and if not, left out.
Thats how Diesel came to WWF in 1998 or so and he challenged HITman and Hogan too.
Now its the Umaga, whoz repeatedly challenging John Cena

Those two wrestlers are Kip James (a.k.a. Mr. *** Billy Gunn) and BG James (a.k.a. Road Dogg). They set out a million dollar challenge for DX to face them at a PPV, since, they consider themselves a big part of DX. The whole storyline was basically surrounding how DX segments are boring and stupid. Kip and BG went so far as to go to a WWE show and get the fans to admit DX is played out. In the end, Voodoo Kin Mafia (Road Dogg and Gunn) withdrew the challenge after Triple H tore his quad. They were tastefull enough to even make a shout out to Levesq saying "Heal your wheel". But to answer your question, this was just a TNA publicity stunt, and it did get them press, both good and bad. Vincent Kennedy McMahon has no ties with TNA

A lot of the wrestlers switched from WWE (WWF) to the TNA. See: Jeff Jarret, Randy Savage, Ken Shamrock, Scott Hall, Jimmy Hart, Buff Bagwell, Lex Leuger and much more. Seems to me like a retirement home for former WWE superstars.

TNA is run by Jerry Jarrett the father of Jeff Jarrett he is a along time promoter in pro wretsling the whole thing is the same as WCW did its a ploy to attract fans its business
