any strike on Iran would be exceptionally dumb. the Taliban are now resurgent in Afghanistan and the insurgents in Iraq are nowhere near beaten. the military are too stretched now to cope. but if there is going to be a strike it will be very close to the end of George's term in office so the next administration can be blamed for the mess.
